Ethan Foxman, MBA – President
Ethan Foxman joined Group Dental Service in 1999. Ethan has broad expertise in the dental benefits market. During his tenure at GDS, Ethan has led all core functional areas that drive business results, including Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Finance. Ethan was appointed President in 2006.
Tom Fluegel, MBA – Chief Operating Officer
A 20 year dental benefits industry veteran, Tom Fluegel joined Group Dental Service
in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer.
Throughout his career, Tom has held numerous leadership positions, including Director
of Sales and Account Services for CIGNA Dental, Vice President of Acquisitions and
Integration for SafeGuard (now MetLife), and Senior Vice President of Client Operations
and Chief Information Officer for UnitedHealthcare Dental.
Eric Neuville – Vice President of Sales & Marketing
With more than 25 years of Sales and Sales Management
experience, Eric Neuville joined Group Dental Service in 2008 as Vice President
of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining
GDS, Eric served for 12 years at Wellpoint where he held various positions in Marketing,
Product Development and Sales, including Vice President of Sales for Specialty Products
where he was responsible for over $400 million in dental revenue.
Dave Fontaine – Vice President of Business Solutions
Dave Fontaine began with Group Dental Service
in 2007 as Director of Implementation. In 2009, Dave assumed the position
of Vice President of Business Solutions where he oversees Implementation, Client
Operations and Quality Assurance. Dave brings to GDS more than 10 years of
experience from Dental Benefit Providers (now UnitedHealthcare Dental) where he
served in various leadership capacities in Underwriting, Financial Analysis and
Account Management.
Brian Ward, MBA
– Director of Underwriting
Brian Ward joined Group Dental Service in 2006 as Director of Underwriting. Brian has more than 15 years of dental-specific underwriting experience. Prior to joining GDS, Brian helped establish the Underwriting department at Dental Benefit Providers (now UnitedHealthcare Dental), where he managed Jumbo and Private Label Account Underwriting.
Andrea Staiano,
CPA – Vice President of Finance
In 2006, Andrea Staiano joined Group Dental Service
to serve as Controller, bringing 10 years of industry finance experience to the
company. In 2009, she assumed the
role of Vice President of Finance and has taken responsibility for all Finance and
Accounting functions for GDS.
Shirley Bonney,
JD, MBA – Director of Regulatory Affairs
Shirley Bonney joined Group Dental Service in 2006. Shirley has more than
25 years of insurance experience, including high-level Regulatory and Compliance
positions at General American Life Insurance Company and Union Labor Life Insurance
Company (ULLICO). Shirley also holds
the following insurance designations: FLMI, PCS, AIRC, AIAA, ARA, ALHC, HIA.
